Students completing this course of study will demonstrate competence in the application of principles and techniques for the development and management of animal systems in Agriculture, Food & Natural Resource settings.
The Animal Science course encompasses the study of animal systems, including content areas such as life processes, health, nutrition, genetics, management and processing, as applied to small animals, aquaculture, exotic animals, livestock, dairy, horses and/or poultry.
►Come prepared to class and on time.
►Be respectful of others and the teacher.
►Don’t talk while others have the floor.
►Take hats off at the door.
►Put phones away during class.
►Stay in the classroom unless you have permission to leave.
This class will utilize the animal facilities for labs.
Students are encouraged to join the FFA.
